We would like to offer our respects to Srila Prabhupada who brought this wonderful instrument to the Western world and spread the Sankirtan movement all over the planet. We are grateful to Radha Govinda Pal Mahashay, who taught this instrument to Prahlad Das in Sri Dham Mayapur. We would like to express our appreciation to Shyamala Kishori Dasi who came up with the idea of creating a Facebook group to Inspire Vaisnavi mridanga players. This fueled the inspiration to create this performance. We hope this offering will inspire more Vaisnavis of all ages to delve deeper into this beautiful art of mridanga playing.
