Dornier Do24

Historical footage of Dornier Do24 flying boats. The D-ADLP is a Do24K wich was build for the dutch navy this aircraft was to become the X-1 one of the Do24’s which escaped to Australia when Japanese forces invaded the dutch indies. When arrived at Roebuck Bay , Broome , Australia the where sudenly attacked by japanese aircraft ( broome raid 03-03-1942) The X-1 was destroyed.
