Pingastea Din Tei: a remix of the hit single “Dragostea Din Tei“ by the Moldovan band, O-Zone; and PINGAS, the Internet meme/fad soundbite. (Note: Dragostea Din Tei is the song in the “Numa Numa dance“ Internet meme viral video by Gary Brolsma, which made the song popular worldwide. “PINGAS“ is from the dialog of the character Dr. Robotnik from the TV cartoon “Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog.“) As if the audio remix wasn’t hard enough, choreographing Dr. Robotnik’s head on these three clips was a nightmare! Video sources: 1) jRx5PrAlUdY : The music video of Dragostea Din Tei, used for the video portion and as a reference for audio-editing; 2) 1miAb9WLI9I : A “karaoke“ instrumental-only version of Dragostea Din Tei, used for the instrumental part of the music. It seems that this may be a home-brew remix as it doesn’t completely match the background music of the original song. 3) The “Pingas“ audio clip from Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, and the image of Dr. Robotnik from the “This Video Contains“ meme videos which was cropped for the head used in this video. Note: The video isn’t necessarily sync’ed with the music, as this is hard to do for the software I’m using.
