Counterfeit Shure Beta 57a

This is a test/review/information session about a counterfeit Shure Beta 57a. The Beta 57a normally retails for about $140, but if you give into temptation and buy one on eBay for $100 instead, this is what you get. It is a microphone and it does work, but it’s not a Beta 57a, and nobody can vouch for its performance or specifications. I’m a big fan of Shure’s products and I particularly think that their M97xE is a superb phono cartridge for an excellent price. I’m not the only one who is a fan of Shure
