Corey Fujimoto “Canon in C“ on Ko’olau Ukulele

Corey played this as the regular “Canon in D“ with a Collings tuned one step higher and Bertrand did the sheet music and tabs we put as a PDF download at our resource center here- (about a 1/4 of the page down on the right). This one is played the same but the ukulele is at standard tuning it becomes “Canon in C“, one step lower. This is a new custom ordered Ko’olau CS Tenor. Corey plays a Ko’olau exactly like this one, CS Tenor Hawaiian grown Cuban Mahogany slotted headstock, abalone purfling, and this one adds the hibiscus inlay. It has a Low G or linear tuning, the Fremont soloist low G along with Ko’olau Alohi strings on the high three strings. The recording is “dry“ because that’s how we do our sound samples.
