IDAO Final 2021, Discussion of the First Stage Task

The first stage task was dedicated to the search for dark matter - one of the mysteries of fundamental physics. We can’t see dark matter as it doesn’t interact with light, and, to make things worse, very weakly interacts with normal matter. Yet it is there, as otherwise rotating galaxies would not be able to stay together.
