Jesse Cook | Virtue (Official Music Video)

This was my first time directing, filming and editing a music video on my own for one of my songs. I had a wonderful time doing it and found the visual medium incredibly inspiring. All of the shots were taken either in my home or during actual tours. There was no location scouting for this project, no set design or make-up artists. This is the first time I have had a music video which really represented something of my life. Special thanks to my percussionist, Chendy Leon and my wife Nancy Cardwell for taking up the camera duties for the steadycam shots of me. There are some things I can’t do, even with a tripod.
