MT7001 Motorcycle CarPlay Android Auto Touchscreen Waterproof Test: Does It Survive?

Due to the change in manufacturing process, the screen of the MT7001 is now assembled to the device using adhesive, which improves waterproofing. However, due to operational issues, the adhesive was not applied thoroughly, resulting in water ingress in some screens. Although short-term water immersion could not reveal the issue, we are now using a high-pressure vacuum method to test waterproofing. Every unit is tested before shipping.
