During the WITCHER FEST in Poland Mel was able to talk to Joey Batey (JASKIER), Anya Chalotra (YENNEFER) and Freya Allan (CIRI). In the interview, the three of them talk about who rehearses the most and who ad libs the most. They also talk about the fight training Freya had to do - similar to Ciri in the series - in order to stand a chance in the fight against pool noodles aka CGI Monsters. But fighting isn’t everything: Anya reveals that Yennefer’s magical gestures are inspired by Indian dances and Joey compares Jaskier to Taylor Swift. We don’t know if her music was playing during the intimate scenes on set, but we do know that an intimacy coordinator is a must on the set of THE WITCHER.
