Female Osprey NC0 has an Unexpected Visitor - Loch of the Lowes Webcam (2024)

Wednesday evening was flat calm and NC0 decided to sleep on her nest perch. Little did she know a silent tawny owl decided to pay the nest a visit! At this time of the year, tawny owls (as early breeders) will be laying and incubating eggs and can be territorial seeing raptors, including osprey, as a threat.
