The Varukers - Live in Norwich, 1996 18 Protest And Survive Signed to Inferno Records The Varukers released their debut 4-track EP, ’Protest and Survive’ in November 1981, which was followed 7 months later by similarly dissentient ’Don’t Wanna Be a Victim’ EP. They then signed to Riot City where they recorded and released their most acclaimed material -- the single ’Die For Your Government’, the album ’Bloodsucker’, the EP ’Led to the Slaughter and the classic ’Another Religion Another War’ mini album. The band continued to tour and record for various labels with various line-ups until they split in 1988 only to reform five years later and show a new generation of punks what it’s really all about.
