Breastfeeding “Siblings“ & Adoption Ban in Islam (muslim kids are orphans forever)

I guess in Islam you can become someone’s sibling by suckling that person’s mother? Also, adoption is banned in Islam, we find out why. There seem to be many contradictory laws in Islam.
