Although they can’t fly yet, this owl species is adventurous and the chicks hop out of their nest as soon as they are able to. BRANCHING OWLS This developmental stage is known as ’branching’ as the owlets now spend their days hopping from branch to branch. BOMBER & LUNA Their parents will continue to feed them from these branches until they are ready to take to the wing and live their lives independently. #tawnyowls #
