Mitsubishi LT 5V Linear Tracking Vertical Turntable

Bought from my local retailer (Aclands which is still there now!) in 1981 by a close friend of the family (Mr. Randall!) . I bought it from him in 1992 and all I’ve done in 19 years is change the main drive belt and fit a new cartridge -- an Audio-Technica AT120E. Plays beautifully despite the best efforts of a local house-removal firm who dropped it during my house move in 2003, it required some minor maintenance and some reconstructed feet. Look carefully at the clip and you can see red dots which are strobe lights that keep the 33 1/3 and 45 rpm accurate. The illuminated glass prism is the vinyl auto-size sensor (selects 7“ or 12“ for you) and I think it still looks space age today........ Best of all, its connected to the original Mitsubishi M-series mini-stack system which was the intended set-up back then. The M-series has never failed and is completely original and pushes out a respectable 60 watts per channel -- very competitive at the time. But I like noise so its now connected to a 400W per channel system... The hi-fi gets admiring looks whoever sees it! Thanks for looking! Music by The Specials - Gangsters I DO OWN THIS MUSIC ON ORIGINAL VINYL!! :)
