BGA, or Baker Gurvitz Army second album ’Elysian Encounter’, released in 1975, is another great example of the “hard fusion“ style of music blending contemporary hard rock with jazz or jazzy elements. Similar bands include Colosseum, Tempest, Colosseum II, Mogul Thrash, and maybe Family or Soft Machine. Band members include Gigner Baker of Cream fame, and brothers Paul and Adrian Gurvitz on bass and guitar, respectfully - both sadly forgotten musicians.
