SRAM Changes The MTB World Again? | New T-Type Drivetrain
SRAM has ditched the rear derailleur hanger with its brand new T-Type Eagle Transmission 12-speed wireless drivetrains, instead opting to mount the rear derailleur directly to the frame.
Not only does T-Type lose the derailleur hanger, it also waves goodbye to the conventional limit and b-tension adjustment screws.
Unsurprisingly, SRAM claims this is its biggest product innovation of all time, but what does it all mean and how does it perform? Tom Law gives you everything you need to know about T-Type, while our senior mountain bike tech editor, Alex Evans, runs you through an in-depth review.
What do you make of these changes? Has SRAM gone too far? Let us know your thoughts in the comments 👇
