MediaCityUK UFO: Short VFX film

Live action and 3D animation piece shot on Canon 7D on location at MediaCityUK, Salford. This was produced as part of a Masters Degree collaboration project between Post-Production and Animation students. The VFX were produced using NukeX, animation was done in Maya with additional animation added in Nuke and After Effects with sound being produced in ProTools and the edit in Adobe Premiere Pro. Da Vinci Resolve was used for final colour grading. VFX, production, charcter design,post and additional animation by James Russell. Animation by Ben Burns. Sound by John Mellor.
