Moose Swim - Sunset Point - Lake Granby Colorado 7/15/2010

2:20pm - While we have moose all over Grand County, in the 18 years we’ve been here, no one around here recalls ever seeing a moose on the Point let alone swimming out and back. This yearling swam at least 1/2 mile into the lake and then back. Moose are great swimmers despite their weight and long legs - well- actually because of both those factors. Anyway, I captured a few shots of this fella on his swim back from the direction of Circle H and Grand Elk Marina looking from the point.
