Titles read: “LARKHILL - ALL ARMS IN ACTION“. Salisbury Plain, Wiltshire. Various shot of a demonstration of land-air warfare put on by the Army, Navy and RAF. Paratroopers of the 16th Independent Parachute Brigade drop from an aircraft and land on Salisbury Plain. Officers look through binoculars. The paratroopers are seen walking across the Plain. Others are on jeeps and trailers. Infantrymen take up positions in the grass. General view of a line of heavy artillery firing. C/U of a shell being loaded into the breach and soldier sighting the gun. L/S of the tracer going between a line of posts. Soldiers arming gun emplacements and firing heavy gun. L/S as target is hit. L/S of the wombat anti-tank gun being prepared and firing. Tanks come up to position and fire their big guns. General view as the shells hit the target.
