8600 rpm Homopolar Motor (Magnetic Vortex Motor - Part 6)

My latest homo polar motor design. This one reaches a top speed of just over 8600 rpm in this video. I’ve clocked it off camera at 15,400 rpm and I’m confident that this model is capable of achieving over 20,000 rpm without destroying itself if given enough amperage. The copper disc is 4 inches in diameter and at 8600 rpm it spins times a second. Its circumference is 12. 56 inches so its outer edge is moving at 150 feet per second.
