In Defense of Talk no Jutsu (Hope and Hypocrisy in Naruto)

Naruto is often criticized for having “weak villains“ that compromise on their ideals in the end, but I feel like this complaint often displays a lack of understanding in regards to the kind of story Naruto was trying to tell.
