Frederick Maxson: Nocturne “At Twilight“, Op.6

Maxson (1862-1934) was an american organist and composer. He was a student of Alexandre Guilmant and worked in Philadelphia as an organist in the First Baptist Church and Central Congregational Church. Very obscure and forgotten composer. This piece is basically one of the only things left from him at all. Happy to bring you this effective and nice, beautiful nocturne today. The piece is dedicated to the composer’s sister. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - A method to find scores: - My donation link to keep the channel growing: Thanks for listening :-)
