Vala Language Introduction

An overview of the Vala programming language given to co-workers. Vala is a C#-like object-oriented language that compiles to C and is built a top the GLib library, used by Gtk , GNOME, the GIMP, and a large number of common open source applications. Vala’s power comes from its ability to interoperate with existing C code.
