Eleocharis parvula - Dwarf hairgrass

Eleocharis parvula is a popular carpeting plant that’s available in Tropica’s Easy category as a pot. It is quite similar is Eleocharis acicularis ‘Mini’ which is available as a 1-2-Grow cup. This is slightly more demanding with thinner and straighter leaf blades when compared with Eleocharis parvula. Although parvula is in the Easy category it will carpet more effectively with stronger lighting and CO2 injection, although these aren’t essential. Best results are achieved by splitting each pot into as many portions as possible in order to obtain the most economical coverage across the substrate.
