Vocals & arrangement by Farya Faraji. This is a folk ballad from Belarus said to go back to the Middle-Ages. My arrangement uses a zither, bagpipe, and flutes, all instruments widely used in Belarusian folk music from the Middle-Ages up until today. I also used a form of drone harmony present in these regions traditionally.
