📃 Оригинальное описание:
Who is Julian Corbett and why is he often seen as a foil to Mahan in naval strategy? This video attempts to go through Corbett’s naval strategy and his attempt to apply Clausewitz’s ideas to the maritime circumstances of the UK. Arguing against the idea that Britain needed to engage in large-scale fighting in Europe, Corbett outlined a strategy where Britain could instead exploit its geographical and maritime superiority to win wars cost-effectively.
