A video circulation online shows an Israeli soldier joyfully firing at Palestinian residences in Gaza. The Palestinian health ministry has reported that 32,975 Palestinians have been killed by Israel since the beginning of the war on 7 October. Among the victims, 14,500 were children, including 30 who died of starvation. Women and children make up 73 percent of the casualties. According to a report by the World Bank and the United Nations, Israel has destroyed billions of dollars worth of infrastructure in the first four months of its bombardment of the Gaza Strip. Israel has destroyed approximately 62 percent of all homes in the besieged enclave, leaving more than a million people without homes.
