SIV Nechranice 5-2016 / UP Summit XC3 / Collapses practice

Another video from Simulation d’Incident en Vol at Nechranice (Czech Republic). My first safety session over water with this wing and pod harness. I have to say I was quite surprised how big is the difference compared to regular harness and middle EN-B wing. This one reacts much faster and getting used to bending your legs isnt that easy as it sounds. Even though its usually not recommended I wanted to test what the wing will do when it collapses on full speed with big cravat and no pilot reaction and this is the result: 1:57 . Otherwise if you react properly and use your break when you are supposed to there is nothing to be afraid of. There is probably gonna be a lot of people saying that this is because its more likely EN-C glider with EN-B certification, but I can tell you that I have seen much worst things happening to middle EN-B gliders on that day due to pilots wrong input. There will be another video with fullstalls and negative spins soon... Hope you like it, fly safe, have fun!
