jig;the gold ring,played on แคน; khaen; khene

this is a popular traditional Irish jig ( 6/8 time) it has 7 parts. each part is played twice. the khaen, or sometimes spelled khene is a bamboo mouthorgan originating in Laos. each pipe has a small metal free reed inserted inside the wooded air notes are produced by stopping small holes in the pipes. it has 16 pipes with a range of 2 octaves .
