Full title reads: “Building Battleships - Laying Keel of the ’Littorio’ at Genoa“. Genoa, Italy. Pan along the huge crowds gathered for the start of work on the new Italian battleship - the biggest in the world - Littorio. A Roman Catholic priest sprinkles Holy Water in the massive pieces of steel that will form the keel of the warship. The first steel girders are lifted into place by crane.
