Lawmakers hold vigil for Charlie Kirk on Capitol Hill

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) lead bipartisan members of the house in a moment of prayer during the Charlie Kirk vigil on Capitol Hill. Other House leaders also delivered remarks about Kirk. A handful of Democrats joined their counterparts at the vigil, including Reps. Suozzi, Don Davis and Debbie Dingell. Monday’s memorial follows a prayer vigil that was held for Kirk at the Kennedy Center on Sunday evening, which included remarks from Johnson, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F.
