GOP continues to attack Kamala Harris’s racial identity

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) parroted former president Donald Trump’s attack on Vice President Harris’s biracial identity on Aug. 4. Republican Sens. Tom Cotton (Ark.) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (S.C.) sought to turn the focus to Harris’s record. Sen. Laphonza Butler (D-Calif.) came to the vice president’s defense, and former House speaker Nancy Pelosi suggested that Harris just ignore Trump altogether.
