Rebekah Del Rio: Llorando @ Tangier!

Rebekah Del Rio brings the room @ Tangier to complete silence with her incredible accapella performance of Llorando, the Spanish version of Roy Orbison’s classic Crying. Ms. Del Rio rose to the international stage with her performance of Llorando in David Lynch’s masterpiece film Mulholland Drive. This performance of Llorando was from Rebekah’s appearance at Abby Travis’ Mata Hari night that took place at Tangier in Los Angeles. Ms. Del Rio closed her incredible and genius set with Llorando and absolutely stunned the audience, winning over the room and gaining new fans in the process. Rebekah proved during this single night why she is one of most gifted and underrated vocalists in the world. If you’re new to the vocal ability of Ms. Del Rio, you can point the reason to her being involved in the films of David Lynch and later Richard Kelly in his film Southland Tales. Many people throughout the world have not seen those films due to their being less than commercial. If she had been involved in a film by say, director Steven Spielberg, I’m certain most of the world would already be enlightened to the unique power and beauty of her voice. With the power of youtube however, Rebekah can enlighten new listeners each and every day. Shot by Myles Matisse.
