Velda Lauder Corsets: In Memory of Velda Lauder

In March 2013, Velda Lauder, Master Corsetiere, passed away suddenly. She was one of the greats of the corsetry world, most widely known, perhaps, for her ’Dita’ corset. I recently rediscovered this video I filmed in January 2012 at the Salon International de la Lingerie in Paris. This was one of Velda Lauder’s last collections, and though it’s only a small sample of her work, I hope it helps to convey just a little bit of the breadth and depth of her talent.
