An armada of allied ships conduct operations in the Philippine Sea during late September and early October, 2021. Carrier Strike Groups led by U.S. Navy aircraft carriers USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70), USS Ronald Reagan (CVN-76), and the United Kingdom’s HMS Queen Elizabeth (R08), are joined by Japanese helicopter carrier JS Ise (DDH-182), during a transit of the Philippine Sea and South China sea. Other ships in the fleet formation included Royal Canadian Navy’s HMCS Winnipeg (FFH-338), Royal Netherlands Navy’s HNLMS Evertsen (F-805); Royal New Zealand Navy’s HMNZS Te Kaha (F-77).
