The Igigi are Synonymous with Anunnaki [The Watchers or Eyes in the Sky]

The Watchers, the Eyes in the Sky, the Igigi. Today we look at the Giant builders who were on Earth before the coming of man. Humanity was created by Enki due to the dictatorship of Enlil, to take over the toil of the Giants also known as the men of renown. In the mythology of Mesopotamia, the Igigi are figures of Heaven. But there is much confusion over the Igigi or Anunnaki, due to there being over two thousand accounts in Mesopotamia. The fact is, the term Igigi is synonymous (the same) as Anunnaki and this is where the confusion arises.
