Government withholding some of Canada Soccer’s funding following drone scandal

Minister of Sport Carla Qualtrough said the federal government is withholding some of the funding ‘related to suspended Canada Soccer officials.’ The move comes after the Canadian women’s team found itself in the middle of a spying scandal at the Paris Olympics.
