John and George play a mainly rhythm part throughout this song with John strumming a bluesy figure while including notes from the chord. George played parts high up on the neck. Notice how George accidentally played the dissonant C note when playing the A chord high on the neck and G note during the E chord. John and George can be seen playing these parts at their 1965 concert in Paris.
