A look at some of the chess positions presented in Pacioli’s book De Ludo Scachorum. Written while Pacioli and Da Vinci were guests of the Countess Isabella d’Este. It is supposed that Da Vinci collaborated on the book. We review here a few of the interesting chess positions presented in the book.
