He leans back and gives his predictions for first half of 1937 - more jobs going for miners and agricultural workers, various shots of the said workers. M/S of railway station and M/S of crowds of people as he predicts a strike. M/S of troops marching as he predicts military movements of foreign power which will cause a scare in March. M/S of mines and unemployed as he mentions benefit revision. M/S of Neville Chamberlain sat at a desk as he talks about budget hitting pocket of ’little man’. He predicts less tension in May but Balkans will be in quarrelsome mood. M/S of people building a bridge. We see pictures of funnels and docks as he says trade will be on the up.
