Ramachandran and Latha in the lead roles, M. N. Nambiar, Nagesh, Chandramohan and in other roles. This movie is a remake of 1973 box office hit of Nasir Hussain’s Yaadon Ki Baaraat, starring Dharmendra, Vijay Arora and Zeenat Aman. The movie was blockbuster and ran for 150 days. Naalai Namadhe was filmed in 1974 but released in 1975 due to Nagesh’s controversial interview he gave about MGR’s womanizing paradigm to a famous magazine by quoting the lip kissing scene with Latha in the song “Ennai Vittal Yaarumillai“ scene in the movie.
