Moderato In November 2022 it will be 100 years since composer’s birth. It is astonishing how little interest among double bass players this wonderful sonata has aroused so far. It belongs to the finest sonatas in the literature. I hope these videos (please check also my another video, with live performance of the 3rd and 4th movement), which are my tribute to composer’s lifework, will result in more recognition and popularity of his music.
