📃 Оригинальное описание:
So I’m still looking for participants to try out my gear. first, right now, I’m only looking for amputees with a mailing address within the USA. If you are, or know of an amputee that has the exact same amputation that I do (dis-articulation through the MCP joint with complete amputation of the fingers index through pinky, while retaining their thumb) and are interested in trying out my gear. go to the printables website and download the check socket file, print it out at 100% with 40-50% infill. check out the fit, if it fits decently take a picture of your partial paw and send it to missingpartsclub@ after I check it out, I’ll email you back, and set up a time when we can have a zoom call to discuss the requirements and expectations.
heres a link to download the check socket file.
This file is naturally a left hand. if you need a right hand, simply mirror it in your slicer. print it at 100% with 40-50% infill.
Yes, there are quite a few conditions to participate in this trial.
The thing is, this device is for a very specific amputation. It isn’t a situation of one device suits all. That’s part of the issue with trying to service the partial hand prosthetics market. There are like 30 different possible amputation variations, and each one requires its own setup and design. This design could conceivably meet the needs for 7 of those variations by deleting 1 or more mechanical fingers. Right now, this trial is for only 1 of those variations.
