Vyasadeva | Portrait by oil painting

Vyasadeva is a great Indian philosopher, known for compiling all the Vedic scriptures and structuring them into four divisions. He is also the author of the great epic - Mahabharata, which includes Bhagavad-Gita. I depicted him in the moment of insight after a long contemplation on his contribution to the Vedic literature when he found the most exciting meaning of all the knowledge revealing the world Shrimad Bhagavatam. In Madhavacharya’s scriptures, you could find a moment in his life when he reached out Vyasadeva in Badrinath. He described him as an incredibly beautiful person without any imperfections, with dark aquamarine-emerald skin, gentle feet and devotion in his eyes. I’m looking at him through the vision of my favourite great thinker Madhava, and see this form.
