Srila Prabhupada The Acharya -- Part 4 -- 4K ULTRA HD

Rare film of Srila Prabhupada, the Founder-Acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness [ISKCON] going about his every day affairs. Now in stunning 4K ULTRA HD! This show opens from some scenes of Srila Prabhupada with disciples and guests on an early morning walk on Venice Beach, which is close to New Dwarka, ISKCON’s Western world headquarters in Los Angeles. Srila Prabhupada then returns to the temple and at around 7:00 AM greets Their Lordships Sri Sri Sri Sri Rukmini-Dvarakadhisha with the assembled devotees and then gives a talk on Srimad-Bhagavatam, the principle Sanskrit work of the great sage Srila Vyasadeva, the author of India’s timeless Vedas. Later on in the film we see an afternoon discussion in Srila Prabhupada’s garden at the ISKCON Juhu temple near Bombay, India. Prabhupada discusses the bodily concept of life and explains that for example, heat is the same, no matter what sort of body we have. There is no different African heat, Indian heat, or American heat. No heat is heat, it does not change because the body changes. Then we go back to Los Angeles, to see another afternoon discussion with Srila Prabhupada. This time he is discussing philosophy with a visiting university professor. Srila Prabhupada is explaining that the body is just like a machine, and the machine of the body is operated by the drive, the soul. We are not the material body, we are the spirit soul, the driver, who is operating the machine of the material body.
