Pakistan: Chief of Naval Staff of Pakistan visits Russian Admiral Grigorovich frigate

Chief of Naval Staff of Pakistan Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi visited the Russian Admiral Grigorovich frigate, in the port of Karachi, on Saturday, on the sideline of the Aman-2021 multinational exercises. A welcome ceremony was held by the frigate’s guard of honour, after which frigate commander Konstantin Aksenov showed the Pakistani Admiral several parts of the ship, including the main complex’ weapons and search and a Kamov Ka-27 rescue helicopter. At the end of his visit, Admiral Niazi wrote a note in the ship’s book of honourary guests. The multinational Aman-2021 maritime exercises involve participants from over 40 countries, including Russian, British, American, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese, and other forces. The first coastal phase of the drills is due to take place from February 12 to 14, while the naval phase will be held from 15 to 16 February.
