Amanda Lear: Cadavrexquis [Expanded Version] (1993)

Amanda Lear’s first album of the 90s was the dark, electronic Cadavrexquis [being a surrealist word for different images collaged together in a bizarre way]. Fantasy, produced by German Eurodance project Bass Bumpers, appeared as a single release in 1992 before the small label Chène released the full album in 1993 with further tracks produced by Olivier Brochart and remakes of Fashion Pack & Lili Marlène produced by Philippe Chauveau and Eric Bono. Amanda promoted both Fantasy and a new recording of Follow Me, but none of them were hits. Interestingly, the cassette edition (although listing the same 10-track order as the CD) excluded Fantasy and included only 6 of the tracks from the album plus two tracks, Voluptas [latin for Desire] and the poignant Sixties Survivor, none of them available elsewhere. 00:01 Fantasy 03:56 Sacrilège 07:20 Speak Of The Devil 10:42 Fashion Pack ’93 15:43 Voluptas [Cassette Only Track] 19:30 Time To Change 23:30 Oh What
