Jyc Row & Gabriel Borza - Onward (feat. Jessy Christ) [METAL COVER]

Heya everyone! Finally, a new upload here! And this time, something I wanted to do for a long time... a metal cover of Onward! :D This is probably the “heaviest“ track there is on my channel so far (I mean, this song even contains some screaming in it) and, honestly, I really like how it turned out! IMPORTANT: Aight, gonna update stuff and all, even though it’s kinda meaningless: I’ll be taking a break on music (personal project) and all for an undetermined amount of time. Been a few days/months I have a lot of trouble doing music things, feeling uninspired and, all in all, completely burned out of it. I’ll just mainly focus myself on the IEO novel this year, wishing to have it done and physically released before conventions, but that’s it. Every other personal projects of mine are now on hold until I get back that “spark“ of inspiration/motivation again. No idea how much time it’ll take but don’t expect much music from me in 2023 if things don’t get better on my end regarding that, might dive into something else to change my horizons and ideas. We’ll see how it goes! Also, to add up to that, as you saw in the video, my program kept crashing several time when I tried to add the lyrics in the video. Doing that takes a lot of time and at the end, well, I said to myself : “Alright, no lyrics it is then“. x) Though, as always, the lyrics are just below, so ye. Big thanks to Gabriel, as always, for the fantastic guitars and drums! Props to Jessy as well for those powerful vocals - I absolutely LOVE how it turned out, especially the screaming before the last chorus! :D Also, props to IRUSU for this beautiful artwork of a heavy metal Luna and, of course, to mens59 for the animation! :D I hope you’ll like this cover as much as I do! So... Let’s rock!! :D Orchestration, instrumental, mixing and mastering by Jyc Row Lyrics and top-line melody by Aloma Steele Guitars and drums by Gabriel Borza Vocals and background vocals by Jessy Christ Artwork by IRUSU: Animated by mens59: Free download: Support: JESSY CHRIST Soundbetter: ’christ’-vignolle GABRIEL BORZA Youtube: Twitter: Instagram: Fiverr: JYC ROW Patreon: Soundcloud: Twitter: Facebook: ______________________________________________________________________________ Lyrics by Aloma Steele: Across the sea People are calling me From every direction Calls for their protection I can’t talk this out Oh, they cry so loud I’ll fight like I mean it Won’t quit ’til they’re beaten My-y Goddess of the Night Guide me with your light Save us from the demons They’re below If you’re there you know Nobody can ho-old Hold you down and we go Onward!
