Soundtrack is currently missing for this whole issue. Titles read: “Aldershot Tattoo Rehearsal“. Aldershot, Hampshire. Various shots of soldiers in costume from the 1500s marching across an open arena in a rehearsal for the Aldershot Tattoo. The pageant is re-enacting the meeting between Henry VIII and Francois of France; the backdrop is a model of King Henry Palace of Ardres. A man dressed as Henry VIII is seen riding amongst the soldiers on a horse. ’Henry’ and ’Francois’ take their hats off to each other; their horses seem a bit frisky and refuse to stand still. Several shots of massive military marching bands (modern dress) crossing the arena. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
