Qatar’s World Cup stadiums are being readied to host Asia’s biggest international football tournament. On Thursday, the draw for the Asian Cup 2023 is set to take place in the country’s capital city, Doha. Qatar, the hosts and current champions, will hope to become only the fifth team to successfully defend the Asian Cup title, after having had a disappointing World Cup run.
